Five games, five wins, 27 goals scored and top of the league with a 100% record.
The 2026-27 season could not have started better for Llanfairfechan Town.
And for Town’s Harry Croston it has been nothing short of a sensational opening few weeks to the campaign, another double on Saturday boosting him to 11 goals in his last four matches.
Amateurs started strongly and almost took the lead within the first 30 seconds with some great play, only for a Billy Sieben strike to narrowly miss the target.
The hosts also hit the post from a Cyril Carey header and twice Leighton Brewer was a free man in the middle of the Llanfairfechan box but on both occasions the wrong decision was made to shoot instead of pass.
Llanfairfechan took the lead when an Elliot Croston ball hrough the Amateurs defence released Franky Gughrill, who one-on-one against Kyle King, slid his effort under the keeper,
Only 6 minutes later, Elliot Croston’s cross from the left was met by Harry Croston, who made no mistake.
Within the next 4 minutes Llanfairfechan were 3 to the good. An Elliot Croston corner – third assist – whipped in was headed home by the unmarked Harry Croston.
Amateurs slowly started to get a foothold in the game again and a couple of good blocks and saves from Ross Roberts prevented the home side pulling a goal back.
A much improved second was produced by the Amateurs but they are still struggling to click in the final third.
The home team did pull a goal back in the 85th minute, Brewer on the score sheet again with his 3rd goal in as many games.
Llandudno Swifts 1 Mochdre Sports 1
Both goals arrived early at the Go Goodwins Stadium, Gareth Jones firing Sports into a sixth-minute lead before Sol Pita levelled on 19.
Penrhyn Bay 1 St Asaph City 1
After a goalless first half, Jake Walker edged St Asaph ahead in the 48th minute, but sub Aaron Gregson equalised on 57 and 1-1 was how it ended.
Rhos United 3 Conwy Borough 1
Adam Williams was a hat-trick hero for Rhos for a second week running, his latest effort sinking Conwy Borough at Betws-yn-Rhos.
Williams struck on seven, 56 and 90+2 for the hosts, who had Femi Allison dismissed on 67 for two yellow cards.
Conwy’s goal came via a first half Cieran Williams penalty.
Division One
Rhyl Athletic 2 CPD Blue Bridge 5
Kai Griffiths (2), Callum Lloyd-Clegg, Lewis Evans and captain Adam Cassidy shared the goals in a fine away win for Blue Bridge.
Finlay Tonor and sub Harrison Roberts replied for Athletic.
Both sides had a player red-carded at the end of the first half, Kai Jones of Bridge and Isaac Robinson for Athletic.
