ADRAN PREMIER – PHASE ONE
Wrexham AFC Women 4 Aberystwyth Town 0
Champions Wrexham began their defence of the Adran Premier title in some style with a home thrashing of Aberystwyth.
New signing Natasha Thomas scored the only goal of the first half, but after the break the Red Dragons broke loose with further strikes from Maria Francis-Jones, Ava Suckley and last season’s top-scorer Katie Barker.

Flint Town United 5 Llanfair United 3
New signing Laura Williams struck twice on her debut for a Flint side for whom Ruby Hastings also delivered a double.
Former Northop Hall, The New Saints and Tranmere Rovers striker Williams, nee Pennington, found the net after just eight minutes at the Essity, Hastings providing the assist.
Another new recruit, Poppy Smith, made it 2-0 on 22 with a second assist provided by Hastings, who scored the third herself after 28 via a Millie O’Connor delivery.
Harriet Davies missed a penalty for Llanfair before Hastings put the Silkwomen four-up on 42, Rebecca Hughes the supplier.
Erin Cornes ensured shellshocked Llanfair finally opened their account in the 45th minute.
Grace Thomas reduced the deficit to 4-2 seven minutes into the second half, but Flint made the points safe on 83 when Williams notched her second, Hastings’ assist meaning the winger was involved in all five home goals.
Sophie Cook bagged a late consolation for the Powys travellers.

Mia Roberts’ added time net-finder clinched Bangor an opening day success at Cae Seilo.
After a goalless first half, the Citizens grabbed a 62nd minute lead through Menna Evans, who burst into the box after receiving a cross from Ellie Jones. Evans took a touch, before firing into the top-right corner.
Catrin Evans levelled on 67, but in the 94th minute Roberts’ fierce strike sealed all three points for the visitors.

Llandudno 0 Berriew 4
Bad start for a new-look Llandudno side.
Dottie Evans (2), Hannah Richards and Teleri Roberts shared the goals for visitors Berriew.
Wrexham Foresters 1 Connah’s Quay Nomads 5
Substitute Non Williams scored twice as Adran North champions Nomads made a flying start in the Adran Trophy at the expense of promoted newcomers Foresters.
Phoebe Ellis handed the Nomads a first minute lead before Maizie Johnson levelled on 14 from a Kirstie Kural assist.
All-square at half time, but the visitors upped a gear in the second stanza and ran away with it.
Hannah Slack and the returning Anna Marsh also found the net as well as two-goal star, the 17-year-old Williams.
NORTH EAST WALES WOMEN’S LEAGUE
Airbus UK Broughton 3 Wrexham Foresters Reserves 0
Alicia Thomas netted twice for Airbus in a three-goal victory over new side Foresters Reserves.
It was 0-0 at the break, but Thomas broke the deadlock just a minute into the second half.
Ava Roberts doubled the Wingmakers’ lead on 62 before Thomas struck again after 73.

Ruthless stuff from Northop Hall, whose nine goals were shared between new signing Frances Hamilton (3), Tyler Price (3), Chelsea Evans, Kacey Roberts and Olivia Davies.
Northop Hall Reserves 0 Coedpoeth United 3
Molly Jones (2) and Jade McHugh split the goals for Coedpoeth in their winning start at the Care and Repair Sports and Social Complex.
Hawarden Park 1 Connah’s Quay Nomads U19s 2
Daisy Willons and Renee Day chalked up the goals which banked three points for Nomads in their first North East Wales League fixture.
Farrah Aslam replied late on for Hawarden.

Nel Lloyd-Davies and Gracey Owen were on target as Corwen celebrated their return to women’s football with a win.
Deeside Dragons 1 Aston Park Rangers 7
Goal machine Stacy Harrison marked her competitive debut for Aston Park Rangers in style by finding the net four times.
Harrison, who scored 35 goals for CPD Cei Connah last season, bagged a quartet in APR’s emphatic 7-1 victory at Deeside Dragons.
Ellie Vaughan, plus subs Leanne Hughes and Deryn Evans added single goals for the visitors.
NWCFA WOMEN’S CHALLENGE CUP
CPD Pwllheli 14 Kinmel Bay 2
Pwllheli’s all-time record goalscorer Lois Thomas began the new season with a bang by hitting the back of the net SEVEN times in a double-figure cup caning of Kinmel Bay.
Thomas’ achievement is also probably a club record for the most goals in a single game.
Sian Moore, a revelation as a goalscorer in the past two seasons, added a hat-trick to her collections, while Jini Owen Hughes, Leanne Rees Hughes, new signing Heidi Condliffe and Awel Ellis also made the scoresheet.
Kinmel Bay’s goals came via Kerry Williams and Seren Williams.
Caernarfon Town 1 NFA 3
Goals from Rachael Thomas, Kelci Morris and Rebekah McGuinness clinched cup success for NFA, Megan Williams replying for Caernarfon.
NORTH WALES COAST WOMEN’S LEAGUE
Prestatyn Sports 2 Amlwch Town 5
Amlwch celebrated their return to league football with a 5-2 victory at new side Prestatyn Sports.
Elin Murley (2), Mari Saunderson (2, 1 pen) and Casey-Jane Evans supplied the goals for the Anglesey side, Ruby McCavish and Isla Fox-Byrne (pen) on the mark for the hosts.
Towyn 7 Holyhead Hotspur 0
Seventeen-year-old star Baileigh Aaron scored four times as Towyn kicked off their league campaign with a thumping win against fellow newcomers Hotspur.
Shanie-May Fleming was almost as successful as her team-mate, helping herself to a hat-trick.
Trearddur Bay 1 Denbigh Town 4
Shelley McMullan gave Trearddur Bay a 35th minute lead, but Denbigh hit back to win 4-1 courtesy of goals from Alicia Duke, Lucy Morris, Sophie Evans and Lleucu Williams.
