He was the leading goalscorer in last season’s FAW Youth Cup competition and now he has signed for his hometown club.
Charlie Griffith, 18, has joined CPD Pwllheli on loan from Caernarfon Town for the rest of the season.
The youngster netted nine goals in last season’s Welsh Youth Cup tournament, including scoring in Caernarfon’s 3-2 victory over The New Saints in the final. He signed his first contract with Town in January 2026.
CPD Pwllheli released the following statement:

” Charlie was part of Caernarfon’s Welsh Cup-winning squad and is an exceptional young talent.
“It’s fantastic to welcome a local Pwllheli lad back to the club. Charlie is an exceptional talent, and we hope he can help us push on in the league throughout the remainder of the season.
“Mae CPD Pwllheli yn falch iawn o gyhoeddi bod Charlie Griffith wedi ymuno â’r clwb ar fenthyg o Gaernarfon am weddill y tymor.
“Roedd Charlie yn rhan o garfan Caernarfon a enillodd Gwpan Cymru, ac mae’n chwaraewr ifanc â dawn eithriadol.
““Mae’n wych cael croesawu bachgen lleol o Bwllheli yn ôl i’r clwb. Mae Charlie yn dalent eithriadol, ac rydym yn gobeithio y bydd yn ein helpu i wthio ymlaen yn y gynghrair dros weddill y tymor.”
