FAW Welsh Cup round one draw – don’t miss it

The 2026/27 FAW Welsh Cup Round One draw will be streamed on Cymru Football TV at 8pm tomorrow – Thursday 27 August.
60 clubs progressed from last weekend’s Second Qualifying Round and they will be joined by 28 clubs from Tier 2 at this stage.
Last season’s four-highest ranked Tier 2 clubs – Newtown, Bala Town, Caerau Ely and Llanelli Town – have received byes and will enter the competition alongside the Novira Cymru Premier clubs in Round Two.
To watch the draw, supporters will need to create an account for free on Cymru Football TV.
Tier 5 giant-killers from the second qualifying round, Llysfaen and Meliden, are numbers 24 and 25 respectively in tomorrow’d draw.
