North Wales Coast West Premier: Gwalchmai stun Berffro with nap-hand, leaders Tigers hit eight

Gwalchmai produced a stunning performance in a five-goal thumping of Aberffraw at Cae Cynlas.

The visitors were up for it from the off and let their neighbours know it.

In the 11th minute Jac Mlynarczyk’s 40-yard early contender for goal of the season whistled into the top corner.

This was only the beginning as Gwalch looked extremely confident and they went two-up in the 24th minute. Mlynarczyk’s brilliant delivery from a set piece found Clark Thomas who towered over the opposition to score with a brilliant header.

Gwalch continued to press Berffro and made it three in the 41st minute. A counter attack along the right flank saw the ball laid off by Luke Llewellyn to the right foot of Mlynarczyk who kept composure to bend his effort over to the back post for a stunning second goal. Half time 0-3.

The second half saw Gwalch eager to push for more and not look to sit back . An early attempt from Iwan Sawicz was denied by the keeper as he dribbled his way through two Beffro players only to see his strike tipped against the post by Maddox Jones Owen.

In the 66th minute Gwalch played some lovely football for the fourth as Sawicz dribbled down the left wing to beat two defenders and laid the ball 25 yards out to Llewellyn whose thunderous strike struck the bar and went in.

To finish off a great display Sawicz again produced brilliant dribbling through the centre before opening his body out to strike the ball with his weaker foot from outside the box to make it five.

After a difficult start to the season, Gwalchmai have now won two on the bounce and look to be coming good.

Ashley Owen struck twice for visitors Nantlle Vale in a fine win at Cae Clyd.
Alex Kalafusz also found the net for the Penygroes side, Iwan Jones (pen) and sub Alun Hughes replying.

Ruthless from the Tigers who have scored a total of 45 goals in their first five games across all competitions, conceding just 2.
On Wednesday they hit eight without reply at Eithin Duon.
John Littlemore bagged a hat-trick to make it 12 goals already this term, while there was a one apiece from Jamie McDaid, Callum Graves, Tom Clarke, James Saxon and Harry Galeotti.
