Left-sided defender who loves to join the attack – that’s Wrexham Foresters’ latest signing Mia Thomas

A left-sided defender fond of joining the attack is the seventh new signing announced by Wrexham Foresters.
Mia Thomas is the latest recruit to join Kirstie Kural’s Adran North newcomers.
Player-manager Kural said: “Mia’s a natural left-footer, which always gives you a bit of balance, and she’s excellent defensively.
“What I love is she’s always looking to play forward and get us going. Solid at the back, positive on the ball.”
Mia said: “I’m delighted to be joining Wrexham Foresters. This is a great opportunity for me and I’m looking forward to continuing to develop as a player working hard every day and giving everything I can for the club.”
Thomas is another player with good level experience who has plied her trade at The New Saints with the under-16 and U17 sides.
In 2024-25, she scored on debut for the U16s and last season captained the U17s, making 17 appearances and netting two goals.
