Denbigh 2nd XI (0) 162-10 Carmel & District 1st XI (15) 163-1

Buddhika Prasad hit a classy century as leaders Carmel romped to a nine-wicket success at Ystrad Road.
Denbigh seconds won the toss and batted, making a decent 162-5 off 40 overs, Joe Threlfall 41 not out and Gerallt Lyall 33, Maneesha Ayomal Nissanka 2-23 and Ralf Fernando 2-24 for the visitors.
Prasad dominated with 105 not out as Carmel raced to 162-1 off just 22.2 overs, the opener hitting 20 fours and a six in a superb 69-ball effort.

Dolgellau 1st XI (0) 96-10 Brymbo 2bd XI (15) 236-8

Brymbo seconds produced a late surge to turn a disappointing 139-7 into a match-winning 236-8 at The Marian.
Number nine bat Harri Davies cracked a 41-ball 56, putting on 97 for the eighth wicket with Gareth Pugh (50 not out), and Jamie Beale hit 37, Jack Williams claiming 3-47 for Dol.
In reply, the hosts were sent packing for just 96, Robert Humphreys 30, Jack Bettis 4-20 and Tomos Rhys 2-6 for the Steelmen, who pocketed maximum points.

Llanrwst 1st XI (2) 36-10 Pwllheli 1st XI (13) 39-4

After choosing to bat, Llanrwst were rolled over for a paltry 36, Omar Aftab taking 5-15 and Ioan Roberts 5-18 for second-place visitors Pwllheli, who got home on 39-4 off 9.2, Alwyn Williams 2-16 and Matthew Latham 2-22 for the hosts.

Menai Bridge 2nd XI (12) 166-6 Llay Welfare 1st XI (3) 165-8

Skipper Jacob Roberts top-scored with 37 as visitors Llay Welfare posted 165-8 off 40 overs, Hari Williams 4-20 and Llyr Midgley 2-26 for the Bridge, who hit back with 166-6, Tomos Rees Jones 54 and Williams 39, Dylan Honey scooping 2-29 for the Wrexham-area side.

St Asaph 2nd XI (14) 295-5 Corwen 1st XI (1) 195-7

Openers Elliot Goddard and Ankush Upadhyaya both recorded tons in St Asaph seconds’ 100-run home victory against Corwen.
Winning the toss and electing to bat, Saints piled up 295-5 off 40, Goddard’s 116 including 19 fours, while Upadhyaya notched 12 boundaries in his 103 not out.
William Pooler collected 2-40 for Corwen, who were limited to 195-7, Mark Wyeth 46 and Harry Pooler 40, Roger Cloete 3-36 and David North 2-55 for the hosts.

Sunday, July 5

Gwersyllt Park 2nd XI (3) 190-4 Marchwiel and Wrexham 1st XI (12) 191-7

A three-wicket win for Marchwiel in Sunday’s Wrexham derby.
Skipper Ben Griffiths struck 77 not out and Lee Beer 38 in Gwersyllt’s effort of 190-4, Phil Oddie 2-40, then the visitors responded with 191-7 off 39.1, Sam Heard Edwards the star with 102 not out, registering 19 fours and a six, skipper Sam Shoemark 35, Beer 5-21 for the hosts, a great effort in a losing cause.

DIVISION THREE

Bersham 1st XI (12) 96-6 Clwb Criced Caernarfon (3) 91-10

Noufal Khader and Jijin Joseph both claimed vital four-wicket hauls as leaders Bersham overcame the challenge of Caernarfon.
Put into bat, the Cofis were dismissed for 91, Khader taking 4-14, Joseph 4-17 and Vipin Shylajan 2-7 off seven.
In reply, Bersham lost six wickets, but got home on 96 off 19 overs, Monis Altaf bowling well in taking 4-22 for Caernarfon.

Bethesda 2nd XI (11) 137-8 Conwy 2nd XI (4) 134-7

Richard Lee Williams picked up 4-16 and Dylan Hughes 3-29 as Bethesda seconds limited visitors Conwy seconds to 134-7, opener Subhan Khan 34.
In response, Pesda made the winning post on 137-8 with just six balls to spare, Dylan Hughes 34, Huw Williams 22 no and Sopan Patel 20 no guiding the hosts to the finish line with an unbroken ninth-wicket stand of 41, Rory Gray-Thomas 4-17 and Lucas Davies 2-19 for the travellers.

Halkyn 2nd XI (14) 183-2 Abergele 2nd XI (1) 182-4

An eight-wicket triumph for Halkyn seconds in a game where batters were on top.
Invited to bat, Abergele set a useful 182-4 off 40, opener Sanjo Kuttan a career-best 107 and skipper David Holmes 38 not out.
Callum Ferguson ended on 81 not out as Halkyn seconds made 183-2 off 35.3, Jack Hawkins 32.

Hawarden Park 2nd XI (2) 118-10 Ruthin 1st XI (13) 119-4

Jonas Robers and Ned Roberts both snaffled 2-18, Osian Roberts 2-19 and Alun Jones 2-28 as Ruthin had Hawarden Park seconds all back in the pavilion for 118.
The visitors reached a winning 119-4 off 25, Alun Jones 37 and Ned Roberts 35, Craig Wilson 2-29 for the Flintshire hosts.

Mold 2nd XI (14) 79-2 Connah’s Quay 2nd XI (1) 76-10

Hayden Millington poached 5-18 and Thomas Garratt 4-15 as Mold demolished the Quay battling for 76 and then cruised to 79-2 off 17.2, David Graham 42 no.

Pontblyddyn 2nd XI (11) 147-8 Buckley 2nd XI (4) 145-10

In a close contest, Buckley seconds were removed for 145, Danny Peover 48 and Jon Whitnall 38, Christian Wrathall 3-24 and San Andrews 2-21 for Pont, who hit back with 147-8 to seal a two-wicket win, Hari Garikapogula 40, while for the visitors Vikneshwaran Priyatharshan took 4-23, Tom Pool and Jatin Sharms both 2-26.

DIVISION FOUR

Carmel & District 2nd XI (0) 108-10 Brymbo 3rd XI (15) 111-0

Carmel were bowled out for a vulnerable-looking 108, Rick Kirkham 33, Luca Brooks 4-28 and Jack Andrew 2-17 for Brymbo thirds, who replied with an impeccable 111-0 to secure a max points victory, captain Charlie Croasdale 71 not out, Owain Pryce 32 no.

Clwb Criced Y Bala (12) 159-6 Llandudno 2nd XI (3) 158-10

Jack White was in such deadly form with bat and ball for Bala on Saturday not even a seven-nation army could have held him back.
A good tussle at Castle Park saw the home team celebrate a 10th win in 13 league starts.
Electing to bat, Llandudno were dismissed for 158, skipper Daniel James 49, White 4-11 for the Lakesiders, Nathan Aldridge 2-17 and Will Bell 2-23.
Bala managed to reach 159-6 from 33.4, White 50 not out leading the way, Jake Sumbland 4-28 for the coast side.

Marchwiel and Wrexham 2nd XI (13) 156-5 Hawarden Park 3rd XI (2) 154-3

Justin Chambers hit 95 as Hawarden Park thirds set a handy 154-3 off 40 overs, but Marchwiel and Wrexham seconds needed just 30.5 over to make a winning 156-5, Anthony Morris 51 and Mike Lee 36, Xander Apletree 2-12 for the visitors.

Ruthin 2nd XI (0) 58-10 Northop 3rd XI (15) 292-4

Northop thirds rattled up a huge 292-4 off 40, Chris Brooks 75 not out, Tomas Bevan 73, Ellis Williams 56 and Daniel Davies 31, Ryan Harden 2-57 for Ruthin, who were skittled out for a mere 58, Sam Griffiths 3-13, William Mowll 2-0 and Bella Williams 2-12 for the dominant visitors, who won by 234 runs.
