Holyhead Hotspur Women reveal their squad (so far) for the 2026-27 season
Holyhead Hotspur’s new women’s side have announced their squad for the 2026-27 season.
Many of the players have come through the girls junior teams at the club in recent years.
Now they are prepating to step up to the adult game this season, with expected inclusion in the North Wales Women’s Coast League/
A team spokesman said: “Several of our players have been approached by other local teams, but these girls remain fully committed to the journey we’ve built together over the past four years.
Their dedication, loyalty, and drive are second to none, and we’re confident they will help bring success to the club in the near future. Most importantly, they’re determined to make their mark and continue raising standards both on and off the pitch.
“We can’t wait to see what this talented group achieves together this season.
“The future is looking incredibly bright, with talented players continuing to progress through our ever-growing Holyhead Hotspur Girls pathway.
“With our Women’s team kicking off this season, there is now a clear development pathway available on the island—from U11s right through to senior football. This is a massive step forward for the club and for girls’ football in the community.”
