It was a night to reflect and celebrate as Buckley Town Ladies held their first presentation evening.
Formed at the start of last season, the team competed in Central Wales Ladies League North and while there were some tough lessons learned at times against more experienced opposition, the ladies were proud to record five wins.
Bucks did the double over Coedpoeth United (4-2, 11-0) and defeated Welshpool Town (4-0), Newtown (5-0) and Llanidloes Town (3-2).
They finished a more than respectable seventh in the 10 team league.
There was also some welcome TV coverage for the ladies when their Welsh Cup tie against Wrexham Foresters was covered by S4C.
Joint top-scorers were Alex Stapleton and Bethan Hughes with eight goals apiece. Bethan also topped the assists with four.
