Buckley celebrated their first home victory as Newtown were put to the sword at The Globe on Sunday.
The Bucks’ previous two league victories this season had come on their travels, but in front of their own supporters they put on a five-goal super show.
The deadlock was broken after five minutes when Bethan Hughes, who had also scored in Town’s previous two victories, found the net.
Poppy Rawlinson added the second goal with 20 minutes gone, captain Alexandra Stapleton providing the assist.
Stapleton herself got in on the act with goal number three in the 52nd minute.
Hughes netted her second of the day – and fifth of the season – in the 75th minute and Stapleton rounded off the scoring after 87.
Kim Pugh found the target for Coedpoeth, but it was Llanidloes who took the points courtesy of goals from 16-year-old Phoebe Short (2), Abbie Regan and Ebon Lewis.
