Ceri Redman struck twice as the Valkyries made it big back-to-back wins in the North Wales Women’s Recreational League.
Over the years, Redman has represented Wales at rugby, played hockey for North Wales and netball for Gwynedd. She has also played football in America and formerly represented Denbigh Town in the North Wales Women’s League.
She is now benefiting the Valkyries with her vast experience, her goals on Monday arriving after 35 and 50 minutes.
Redman also provided the assist for the opening goal, scored by Jenn Brassington.
Azita Ahari notched the second, Carly Andrews assisting, making it 2-0 at the break.
Redman’s second half pair included an assist from Ahari, while Hannah Parry also made the scoresheet, Brassington supplying her opportunity.
Heidi Morris’ fifth goal of the season and a Caitlin Latham net-finder inside the opening 17 minutes set up the Dragonhearts for a great win at Ysgol Aberconwy.
Tiffany Pacelli pulled one back for Pen in the second half – her fifth goal this term – but the visitors held on for the points.
