The make-up of the North East Wales Football League for the 2026-27 season has been confirmed.

The North East Wales Football Association has unveiled the Tiers 4, 5 and 6 league structure for the forthcoming campaign, with divisions finalised following the conclusion of the FAW accreditation process.

Division One will consist of 11 teams after Connah’s Quay Town were granted a reprieve in the Lock Stock Ardal North West, maintaining their place at Tier Three and preventing an additional relegation place to the North East Wales Football League.

Divisions Two and Three will both expand to 10 teams ahead of the new campaign, with four new clubs entering the league structure for the upcoming season.

Wrexham Foresters, Halkyn United, Marchwiel Saints and Mostyn FC will all join the league and begin life in Division Three.

Lex XI return to the North East Wales Football League following relegation from the Lock Stock Ardal North East and will compete in Division One, alongside promoted sides Acton and Aston Park Rangers.

AFC Deeside and CPD Caerwys have both earned promotion to Division Two. Meanwhile, Cefn Druids and Brymbo will remain in the division despite finishing in the bottom two positions last season due to the league restructuring.
