FC Queens Park announce new management set-up

Craig Roberts and Ryan Roberts will lead FC Queens Park next season

FC Queens Park have appointed a new management team to lead them in their exciting venture into Tier 3 next season.

Craig Roberts and Ryan Roberts take over the helm from Arran Taylor, who this week stepped down after a fairytale first season in charge.

Taylor enjoyed a dream debut campaign as first team manager, the Park winning a treble of North East Wales Division 1 title, Premier Cup and Horace Wynne Cup. The club as a whole won SEVEN trophies in senior football in 2025-26.

The firsts will now operate in Ardal North East in 2026-27, thanks to the amazing efforts of the players and management, led by Taylor.

Queens Park paid the following tribute to the outgoing boss.

“After an unforgettable season, FC Queens Park would like to announce the departure of First Team Manager Arran ‘Taz’ Taylor.
“A former player, club legend, and passionate leader, Taz returned to the club this season to take charge from the sidelines and has made a tremendous impact both on and off the pitch.
“His commitment, dedication, and belief in the squad have helped guide the team through an incredible season and created memories that will stay with the club for years to come.
“While we are sad to see him move on, we are grateful for everything he has done for the club. On behalf of everyone at FC Queens Park, thank you, gaffer. “

New manager Craig Roberts worked alongside Taylor last season.

Ryan Roberts has enjoyed numerous management successes in the past with the likes of Chirk AAA and Plas Madoc, having also had stints with Cefn Albion and Cefn Druids.

Queens Park added: “FC Queens Park are delighted to announce the appointment of Craig Roberts as our new First Team Manager.

“Craig, who was part of the first-team coaching setup last season, will be joined by Ryan Roberts, who brings a wealth of coaching and management experience gained across a number of teams.
“Working together, Craig and Ryan will lead the squad forward, supported by our existing matchday staff, as we continue to build on the progress made last season.
“With this new management team in place, we look forward to an exciting and successful season in Tier 3.”
