This hugely popular figure is seen as an excellent appointment by the club which will have the fans and players full of excitement for the season ahead.

Queen’s Park put out the following message on social media this evening: “We’re proud to announce Arran ‘Taz’ Taylor as the new First Team Manager of FC Queen’s Park.

“A former player and true club legend, Taz made a big impact during his time on the pitch.

“His passion for the club has never faded, and now he returns to lead from the sidelines as part of our experienced and talented management team.

“Taz is eager to pass on his knowledge and experience to the next generation of players and help push the club to new heights.”
