Crest for newly-named CPD Dinas Bangor City 1876 FC unveiled….

This is the crest for the newly-named CPD Dinas Bangor City FC 1876.

Formed in 2019 by a Supporters Trust aiming to safeguard the future of football in the city, the club was known as Bangor 1876 until the end of the 2024-25 season.

The new name, CPD Dinas Bangor City FC 1876, was voted for by supporters and comes into being for the 2025-26 campaign.

It incorporates the 1876 identity with Bangor City Stadium, whose owners last season entered into a partnership with the club to develop an exciting new future for football in Bangor.

Much development work is ongoing at the stadium, including a re-laying of the pitch.

On the club’s social media today, the new crest was unveiled along with the following message:

𝗢𝗨𝗥 𝗧𝗘𝗔𝗠. 𝗢𝗨𝗥 𝗝𝗢𝗨𝗥𝗡𝗘𝗬. 𝗢𝗨𝗥 𝗖𝗥𝗘𝗦𝗧
Capturing the spirit of our city’s football heritage and looking forward to our united future…
We present your new Bangor City 1876 crest…..
