Nomads women’s team manager steps down after five seasons at the helm
Jordan Parry has stepped down as Connah’s Quay Nomads women’s team manager after five seasons in charge.
After lifting the NEWFA Women’s Challenge Cup in each of his first three campaigns at the helm, Parry led the Nomads to back-to-back Tier 2 Adran North League titles in 2024-25 and 2025-26.
In both seasons, the team went through the entire league campaign unbeaten, winning 14 out of 14 the first time around and recording 10 victories and two draws this term.
Nomads went on to twice compete in the promotion play-off to reach the Tier 1 Adran Premier, but lost each time, despite leading in both finals.
Parry took over the Nomads women’s team at the start of 2021-22, but his association with the club dates back some 10 years, including notable work in developing the academy.
He told the club website this week that he is calling time on his management stint to spend more time with his family and pursue new challenges.
Parry was manager of Nomads for 110 matches, recording 83 wins, 3 draws and 24 defeats with 469 goals scored and 98 conceded.
Connah’s Quay Nomads are now advertising the vacant post of women’s team manager.
