Matt Lawrenson produced his best club figures of 5-36 as Chirk edged a two-wicket win over Forton at Holyhead Road.
Put into bat, the visitors were all out for 140 in 35.1 overs, the rest of the wickets shared between Nick Flack, Luke Gardner, Mark Shaw and Nitish Sharma with Andrew Swarbrick producing a run out.
In reply, Chirk got home on 142-8 off 33.3, skipper Flack best with 41 while extras amounted to 40, Will Askin 3-19 for the away side.
Just like the first team, Chirk seconds ran out narrow winners in chasing a modest total.
Invited to take first knock, Corvedale were dismissed for 109, Zahid Nasiri 3-25, George Collins 2-13 and Harry Lunt 2-14 for the visitors.
Chirk slumped to 95-7 in response, but reached their target for no more losses, opener Daniel Graham top-scoring with 33, Nicholas Howell 3-15 for the hosts.
