Surely big chance of a Wrexham treble at Genero Adran Premier awards
Three stars from Wrexham AFC Women’s amazing double-winning season are in line for major recognition.
Manager Jenny Sugarman, league top-scorer Katie Barker and midfield maestro Faye Knox are all major contenders in the 2025/26 Genero Adran Premier awards.
Wrexham won a first Adran Premier League title as well as the Genero Adran Trophy in a remarkable campaign.
Voting is now open for the awards. You have until 5pm on Monday 27 April to select your Player of the Season, Manager of the Season and Young Player of the Season.
Votes will be combined with an independent panel and the winners will be announced at the FAW National Leagues Awards in association with Morgans Consult on Saturday 16 May.

Katie Barker – Wrexham
Record-breaker in the goalscoring charts, Wrexham forward Katie Barker has been a sensation in the top-flight since joining from Newcastle United last summer. 25 league goals later, she is a double winner with The Red Dragons, with her pace, clinical finishing and intelligence on the ball inevitable throughout the campaign. Barker netted 29 goals in all competitions for the Red Dragons.

Jenny Sugarman – Wrexham
It’s been an incredible transformation at Wrexham, with Jenny Sugarman turning the North Wales side into title winners since joining from Leicester City last summer. Her pedigree has had the desired impact on the Wrexham squad, with the Red Dragons losing just twice on their way to lifting the top-flight crown for the first time ever.

Faye Knox – Wrexham
The perfect final piece of the jigsaw. After a standout league-winning campaign with Bolton Wanderers, 21-year-old attacking midfielder Faye Knox returned to the Welsh game on deadline day last year. The former Wales U19 international quickly cemented a starting spot under Jenny Sugarman, scoring nine times in the Genero Adran Premier, helping Wrexham to a first league title in their history. The former Rhyl High School pupil scored 19 goals in all competitions for the Red Dragons.
