Two stoppage time goals ensured champions 1876 avoided dropping points in a league game for only a fourth occasion this season.
NFA were holding the Citizens to 2-2 entering the 91st minute of Tuesday’s match at Bangor City Stadium, but then Josh Carey and Sam Jones both scored to clinch the home side a 25th win in 28 league fixtures which put them 15 points clear at the summit.
Curtis Cook and David Wallis edged the Rhyl-based visitors ahead twice in the first half only for Louis Corrigan to equalise on 13 and 44 minutes.
And the game was heading for a draw until Carey pounced from a Logan Williams assist and Declan McManus set up Jones for number four with 94 on the clock.
City had clinched the title 10 days earlier with a narrow 1-0 success at NFA.
Bangor City 1876 have now set a new club record of 207 goals in a season, the highest amount they have scored since forming in 2019-20.

The remarkable Osian Hughes continued his goal-packed end to the season with another four in Saturday’s thrashing of Mynydd Isa which boosted the captain’s total to 38 in all competitions.
Included in Hughes’s tally is 33 league goals which keeps him top of the Tier 3 Ardal North West scorers chart.
Also on the mark against Mynydd were Corey Lundstram and Kyle Hartleb, Pesda’s latest triumph keeping them in an impressive fourth place.

Gruffydd Ellis gave Port a 14th minute lead at Parc Gwydir, but Callum Parry equalised with his 28th goal of the campaign with 41 gone and 1-1 is how it stayed.
Penmaenmawr Phoenix 4 St Asaph City 2
Phoenix clinched safety in their first Ardal North West season with a hard-fought win over the bottom side at Cae Sling.
It was a day Anthony Marshall will not forget, the March signing scoring a hat-trick for the hosts with goals on 10, 59 and 84 minutes, all via Toby Jones assists.
Adam Hold opened the scoring for Phoenix in the second minute, Josh Roberts with a double for Saints to make it 2-2 at half time.

Sion Jones and Dion Jones bagged the first half goals which proved enough to earn three points for visitors Llangefni.
Sion Roberts replied for Pwllheli woth his fifth goal in as many games, also in the first half.

Third-place Llannefydd made it 10 league wins on the trot thanks to a 70th minute own goal from Jack Cain.
