JD CYMRU NORTH: A final day of very mixed fortunes – depending on who you support!
It was either a magical day or a nightmare day for Cymru North teams – depending on who you support.
CPD Y Rhyl 1879 needed a win to guarantee fourth-place, but after Ben Lightfoot missed a second minute penalty and then key defender Mo Ali was sent off with nine on the clock at Penrhyncoch, it was not destined to be the Lilywhites’ day.
Penrhyn eventually ran out 3-0 winners.
Champions Llandudno were beaten for just the second time this season, going down 3-1 at runners-up Airbus.
