Back-to-back wins for the first time this season were achieved by a Llysfaen side which continues to improve as the campaign progresses.
Mike Chapman made it a stunning 14 goals in eight games for the Faen after the on-fire striker netted all four for the home team.
Llysfaen manager Gaz Sorfleet said after the game: “Delighted with the result and the performance, but honestly think we could have stepped it up a gear or two.
“It started off cagey but once we got the first the nerves settled and we played some great stuff at times. Jake (Reynolds) and Alex (Tate) worked hard alongside Chapman who was as lethal as ever.
“The back 4 of Ash (Black), Glyn (Nolan), Colin (James-Davies) and (Ben) Franks were solid and Mozza (Ashley Morris), Chris (Evans) and (Paul) Vinall in the midfield were superb. We never felt in danger and should have added a few more ourselves. Good to see some of our young lads get some time on the pitch as well.
“Delighted with back to back wins and our 3rd win in our last 5 games. This sets up a massive game next week now away at Crozzy.”
