(abandoned first half – result stands)

Sunday’s tussle at Stansty Park was marred by a serious injury to Foresters player Charlotte Dykes which caused the game to be abandoned.

The match was called off about half-an-hour in after Dykes sustained a badly hurt knee and due to the amount of time expected for an ambulance to arrive, play was halted permanently.

Foresters player-manager Kirstie Kural said an agreement was reached that the 2-0 result would stand, which means the Wrexham side have won 11 on the bounce in Central Wales North.

Dykes had scored the opener in the first minute, Anna Thomas with the assist, and Savannah Miller added a second after seven, Laura Evans this time the supplier.

Kural named herself as substitute as she continues to recover from a calf injury.
