The scoreline was the same but the winner and loser was reversed.
Sunday’s replayed League Cup quarter-final saw Rhyl visitors NFA end up victorious on Anglesey.
Seven days earlier, Llangefni had won 2-1 in extra time, but it later emerged the tie should have gone straight to penalties after ending 1-1 in 90 minutes, so the game had to be played again.
NFA settled well and took a deserved two-goal lead.
Sade Benjamin opened the scoring on 15 minutes when she spotted the keeper off her line and lobbed her into the top-right corner.
Defender Sophie Haywood grabbed the second, an unstoppable shot from the edge of the box after receiving the ball from Rebekah McGuinness.
For Benjamin, it was an eighth goal of the season, while Haywood celebrated her third net-finder of 2025-26.
Llangefni came more into the game in the second half and pulled a goal back through Lowri Thomas.
The hosts were aggrieved after what looked like a trip in the box on Ffion Owen went unpunished.
There was also controversy when the NFA keeper appeared to scoop the ball out from over the goal-line, but the official waved play on.
However, NFA made the most of their second chance to advance to the semi-finals.
