Another netball honour for North Wales wonder girl Cassie

Pwllheli sportswoman Cassie Ogilvy can add yet another achievement to her netball CV.

The 21-year-old has been selected for Northern Steel, a mixed netball club based in Wrexham who compete in a national league.

Steel are among an elite group of teams which take part in the England Men’s and Mixed Netball Association (EMMNA) League.

Goal Attack (GA) or Goal Shooter (GS) Cassie has played for the North Wales Talent Centre and North West County and in 2022 was the youngest player in the North Wales Fury squad.

A member of Clwb Pêlrwyd Pwllheli, she is also a Welsh Colleges/Colegau Cymru international and plays regularly in the Gwynedd a Môn League. She wears the colours of Walis Bryn Goch in the North West League on a Monday night.

Sports-mad Cassie is also a footballer for CPD Pwllheli and a marathon and ultra runner.
