BEN FARLEY (Connah’s Quay Nomads to Connah’s Quay Town)

A product of Connah’s Quay Nomads’ thriving youth system, 21-year-old Farley signs for Tier 3 club Connah’s Quay Town after brief spells with Mold Alexandra and Cefn Albion.
Having represented Hawarden Rangers at under-16 level, Farley then became part of a highly successful Nomads U18 side over three seasons.
Connah’s Quay Town manager Gary McConnell said: “Ben is a player I have been keen on managing for some time now, having been part of the successful academy side with Connah’s Quay Nomads that won the FAW Academy National Championships under Gaz Richards.
“Ben is a versatile player who can operate in a number of positions and brings real creativity to the team, with outstanding technical ability and tactical understanding.
“He’s a player we identified in the summer, and we are delighted to finally welcome him to the club.”

DYLAN EVANS (St Asaph City to Connah’s Quay Town)

Another to emerge through the outstanding Connah’s Quay Nomads development squads who has excelled for the under-16s and U18s.
Played for Llay Welfare in the Cymru North last season and switched to Tier 3 club St Asaph City in the current campaign, making eight first team appearances and scoring once – against new team Connah’s Quay Town.
Town manager Gary McConnell said: “Dylan is a forward player who can play either side in a front three or as a number 10
“We are thrilled to announce the signing of Dylan from St Asaph. He caught our eye early in the season with his pace and tenacity, and once we learned he had become available, we were quick to make our move.
“Dylan is a young and talented player who demonstrates superb technical ability. His previous clubs include Connah’s Quay Nomads, Llay Welfare, and St Asaph.
“We are really looking forward to working with Dylan and welcoming him to the club.”

KYLE LALLY (CPD Blue Bridge to Llandyrnog United)

Top scorer for Blue Bridge this season with 10 goals, Lally now makes the move to North Wales Coast East Division One title contenders Llandyrnog.
The 26-year-old striker previously spent two campaigns with Rhyl Albion, scoring 25 goals in 48 first team matches, including 16 Division One strikes in 23 games during 2024-25.
Had a great 2022-23 with Bow Development, scoring 14 times in 16 outings including 8 in 4 over the closing weeks of the season, and netted 4 for the first team.
Prior to that played for Rhyl Dragons,
Over the past four seasons, Lally has notched 53 goals in 93 games in all competitions – that’s the sort of form which made him a big target for Llandyrnog manager Sion Morris.
Morris said: “Really pleased to get Kyle on board!
“He’s someone who’s certainly going to strengthen us going forward for the second half of the season.
“We felt like we needed another attacker to add to Alfie and Luke’s goals and with Kyle already on 10 league goals this season, he was the obvious choice especially after seeing how much of a handful he was against us earlier on in the season.”

OLIVER FAREBROTHER (CPD Y Rhyl 1879 to Denbigh Town)

Experienced goalkeeper Farebrother is a new addition for JD Cymru North club Denbigh Town in the January window.
The 25-year old shot-stopper joins the club following his departure from Rhyl 1879 where he began the 2025/26 campaign.
Farebrother has played in both Wales and England during his career, picking up silverware along the way.
On arriving at Denbigh, he said: “I’ve trained with the lads already and it’s been really positive. There’s a good group here, a lot of quality, and it feels like the right place for me.
“The direction the club is heading in is exciting and there’s a lot to be positive about. I’m grateful for the opportunity and really looking forward to getting going
.”
Manager Dewi Llion added “Oli’s a great keeper with experience at some big clubs.
“He was a really important player with Porthmadog last season and has played nearly 50 games in the Cymru North, he brings quality and the right ambition to come here
.”
Farebrother began in the academy at The New Saints before continuing his development as a youngster with Aberystwyth Town and Bow Street, During his time in development football he was called up to represent Wales at Under-16 level.
In 2020 he switched to play in England with spells with Padiham, Clitheroe, Widnes and Ashton Town over the course of three years, before returning to Wales for a second spell at Penrhyncoch.
After half a season he signed for Chirk AAA in the JD Cymru North where he remained for 18-months.
In January 2024 he joined Porthmadog in the Lock Stock Ardal North West, where he remained an ever-present at Y Traeth keeping 11 clean sheets in 39 appearances. During his spell he lifted the Ardal Northern League Cup in a 4-1 win over Brickfield Rangers last May.
In the summer, he was picked up by newly promoted Rhyl 1879, making his debut in a victory over Guilsfield in August before keeping a clean sheet in a 3-0 win over Caersws a week later.
However, with chances limited to three appearances on the coast, he opted to depart in November before signing for Denbigh.
So far in the January window, Town have brought in defenders Mike Pearson and Dan Davies, midfielder Hari Roberts and keeper Farebrother.

HARI ROBERTS (Caernarfon Town to Denbigh Town – loan)

Midfielder Hari Roberts has joined Denbigh on loan from Cymru Premier club Caernarfon Town.
The 18-year old commits to Central Park for the remainder of the 2025/26 campaign.
Roberts signed for Caernarfon in the summer of 2025 following his departure from Wrexham, where he spent five years developing in the academy as well as earning international honours.
“I’m really pleased to join Denbigh for the rest of the season to get some minutes under my belt,” said Roberts.
“It’s a good chance to step up from academy football and get real time in the men’s game, whilst hopefully helping the side up towards the right end of the table.”
Roberts spent time in junior football with Nefyn United before being picked up by the academy at Bala Town. After spending time between Bala and Pwllheli, he was spotted and signed for Wrexham in 2020 at 13.
He earned call-ups to represent both Wales Schoolboys and Wales for the first time in 2021 and represented Cymru in the 2022 Victory Shield.
Roberts signed his scholarship with Wrexham in 2023, with a highlight coming last season, scoring twice to progress in the FA Youth Cup away to Tranmere at Prenton Park.
He departed in 2025 before signing for Caernarfon in the JD Cymru Premier, making his debut as a late substitute against Haverfordwest County in November. He’s also featured ten times for the development side, scoring twice.

RIO OWEN (Wrexham to Caernarfon Town – loan)

Nineteen-year-old striker Owen has signed for Cymru Premier club Caernarfon for the remainder of the season.
The Bangor-born forward signed for Wrexham in July 2023 and has a very impressive scoring record for the under-18 and youth teams over the past three seasons, netting 42 goals in 69 starts.
Owen made his first team debut for Caernarfon as a 59th minute substitute in a 2-2 draw with Connah’s Quay Nomads on January 13.
