Nomads confirmed their place in the JD Cymru Premier top half with an entertaining 4-2 victory over Briton Ferry Llansawel at the Essity Stadium on Sunday.
Ferry found the breakthrough in the 34th minute as a long ball from goalkeeper Will Fuller was neatly controlled by Tom Walters, who clinically slotted home.
However, the Nomads were level five minutes later as Harry Franklin raced onto Rhys Hughes’ defence-splitting pass and smartly lifted the ball over Fuller.
Callum West put the hosts ahead for the first time when his effort from outside the box deflected into the bottom corner in the opening minute of the second half, but the contest was all square once again on 54 as Ollie Anderson tapped home Walters’ cross.
The Nomads made four substitutions at once, and those changes paid off as Max Woodcock, who had only been on the pitch for 12 minutes, fired home from Franklin’s low cross – his first league goal since September – to restore the advantage in the 83rd minute.
Ferry were reduced to 10 men five minutes later as Tom Price was shown a second yellow card, before Franklin sealed victory for the Nomads in stoppage time by providing the finishing touch to West’s delivery into the box for his 10th goal in his last nine league games.

Flint will have been disappointed to lose a two-goal lead late on.
The Silkmen led at half-time thanks to Elliott Reeves’ 11th league goal of the season as the forward latched onto Jake Canavan’s delightful, lofted pass and sent a deft lob over Luc Rees.
Lee Fowler’s men doubled their advantage shortly after the hour mark when Ricky Watts’ challenge on Jake Phillips inside the box allowed Josh Jones to convert from the penalty spot.
It looked like Flint would be heading for a first league win in over two months, but Haverfordwest pulled a goal back on 84 minutes when home defender Ben Woollam turned Dan Hawkins’ low driven effort into his own net.
Ben Ahmun then met Hawkins’ clipped ball and headed home into the bottom corner just a minute later to complete a quickfire comeback.
Flint are now out of the bottom two on goal difference only.
