A prolific striker who has made his mark with two clubs in 2025 is the Grassroots North Wales Men’s Footballer of the Year.
Tom Hilditch, 25, began the year at Porthmadog, where between January and May he netted 12 times, including twice in the Ardal North League Cup Final where his team defeated Brickfield Rangers 4-1.
Over the 2024-25 season as a whole, Tom finished joint-second highest scorer in Tier 3 Ardal North West on 19 goals, having bagged 26 in all competitions for Port across the campaign.
In summer 2025, Tom made the move to Trearddur Bay, an ambitious Tier 3 club with sights set on playing football at a higher level.
And the forward has been a major success for the Beach Boys so far, notching 21 goals, including 11 in Ardal North West, where he is joint-second top marksman.
Tom also leads the Bob Brodie Trophy table which recognises the highest goalscorer in Anglesey senior football each season.
In Trearddur Bay’s sensational run to the Welsh Cup quarters, Tom has knocked in 10 goals in five ties – 4 versus Llangefni Town, 3 against Glynneath Town and 1 in each game where the islanders have eliminated Berriew, Broughton United and Newport City.
Over 2025 in its entirety, Tom has amassed 33 goals in 32 appearances – a truly fantastic effort at a good standard of football. He is also a major contributor to Bay’s style of attacking play.
