Captain Ashley Owen scored a fantastic hat-trick as Premier leaders Nantlle Vale fought back from two-down to win a seven-goal cracker at School Lane on Friday night.

Cemaes Bay started well with Jacob Davies giving them a 14th minute lead before Tom Wood added a second home goal after 22.

Llion Griffiths replied for Vale on 25 before he provided the assist for Owen to equalise in added time at the end of the half.

after the break, Owen netted on 58 and 67 to complete a hat-trick and put the Penygroes side 4-2 to the good. That made it eight goals in five games for Owen and 13 for the season.

Asa Thomas pulled one back for the Anglesey side with a minute remaining, but it was Nantlle who took the points.

Menai Bridge Tigers 2 CPD Nefyn United 0

Second-place Menai Bridge increased the gap between them and Nefyn in third to four points with a home win over the Penwaig on Friday night.

An Ifan Gwilym Jones own goal on 12 minutes gave the Tigers an interval lead before Jamie McDaid’s 19th of the campaign from a Sion Hogan assist doubled the advantage after 82,

Blaenau Ffestiniog Amateurs 1 CPD Llanberis 1

Sion Roberts’ ninth goal of the season gave Blaenau a 58th minute lead at Cae Ckyd, but Matthew Jones levelled on 76 to earn Llanberis a point.

CPD Llanystumdwy 3 Talysarn Celts 2

Rhodri Jones (2) and Guto Gwenallt’s 70th minute clincher broke a sequence of successive home defeat for Llanystumdwy, Jac Pearce Jones and Sion Pollard having handed Talysarn a 2-1 lead during the first half.

CPD Aberffraw 4 CPD Mountain Rangers 0

Andy Clarke kept up his tremendous record of having scored in every one of the 12 games he has played for Aberffraw this season with a double against Mountain Rangers.

Clarke has bagged a total of 16 goals in those dozen matches, and is well clear at the top of the Division One chart with 13 in the league.

In the first half at Cae Cynlas, Dion Evans delivered Berffro a 34th minute lead via a Gareth Hughes assist.

Arwel Williams then helped set up Clarke for his first in added time at the end of the opening half.

Clarke made it a pair on 59 minutes, Connor Gordon the suppiler, and Gordon himself completed the scoring after 81, Aron Lewis-Davies the chance provider.

CPD Cefni 6 CPD Deiniolen 2

A first win in five attempts for Cefni = and they delivered in style against Deiniolen.

Dion Owen scored the home side’s opening two goals on 12 and 27 minutes, Tyler Mapp, Gruff Huws and Kieran Owen all adding to the total before the break, making it 5-0 to Cefni at the midway stage.

Sion Foulkes and skipper Arwyn Price replied for the visitors in the second period, sub Chris Gentille bagging a sixth for the hosts.

Llangoed & District 1 CPD Caernarfon Borough 1

Wayne Thomas’ sixth goal of the season on 38 minutes ensured the Puffins were in front at the turnaround, but veteran Ian Pleming earned Borough just a second point of the campaign with a 50th minute equaliser.
