Three straight wins for Cei Connah and 13 goals in just three appearances for Stacy Harrison, who added another four to her collection at Rowley’s Drive in Shotton on Sunday.

Cei Connah battled the elements and a stubborn Northop Hall side on a very rainy afternoon, emerging with an impressive 6-0 victory after a brilliant team performance.

The conditions made for a tough, scrappy encounter, with the midfield turning into a tight battleground.

Despite the rainy weather, the game was played at a high intensity, requiring every player to give their all – which they certainly did.

The goals began to flow as CPD Cei Connah’s attack found their rhythm. Stacy’s four goals came courtesy of some superb teamwork: she was first assisted by Chloe Jones, followed by two assists from Becca Jones and her fourth goal came from a set up by Deryn Evans.

Chloe Jones added a goal of her own, assisted by Kelly Cormack and Alex Garbett rounded off the scoreline with a goal assisted by Stacy.

While the forwards dominated the score sheet, the entire team was lauded for their effort, particularly the defensive unit. Northop Hall put pressure on, but CPD Cei Connah were defensively solid throughout.

Amy Clark had a fantastic outing, pulling off a few crucial, good saves to ensure the team protected their well-earned clean sheet.

Every single player demonstrated commitment and grit, battling until the final whistle.

Coedpoeth celebrated a first win at Argoed Sports and Social Club on Monday evening.

Lily Denby scored the first, followed by a Sam Jones double.

Happy days and excellent numbers in training on Tuesday for Coedy after having played Sunday in the Central Wales North League in heavy rain and Monday in the Rec League.
