Lex picked up just a second point of the season – but it could so easily have ended up a first win for the Lawmen.
Joey Price rescued a point for Radnor Valley courtesy of a late retaken free-kick at The Bypass.
It was the Goats, boosted by last week’s derby win at Builth Wells, who opened the scoring in the sixth minute. Jack Clarke found the back of the net after being played through on goal by Lewis Morris, to finish a flowing move that started in the hosts own half.
The Lawmen were back on level terms within three minutes when Mthulisi Ndlovu pounced to find the back of the net from an Aaron Kaya assist after the New Radnor club failed to clear the ball from their penalty area.
The Wrexham outfit went ahead when a 38th minute free-kick was only partially cleared and Kieron Jones beat Radnor debutant goalkeeper Jordan Bailey with a first-time 25 yard drive into the top corner of the net.
The Goats pushed for an equaliser during the second-half but appeared to be out of luck against the bottom side, who were looking to claim their first league win of the campaign.
That was until the hosts talisman stepped-up to fire home an 88th minute free-kick for a second consecutive match and secure a share of the spoils the Radnorshire club.
Meilir Williams made it 18 goals in 12 games this season with his latest hat-trick helping seal an emphatic win for Llanuwchllyn which puts them five points clear at the summit.
It was a 12th club treble for Williams, who has amassed a phenomenal 112 goals in 93 appearances since joining Llan at the start of 2023-24.
Gwydion Ifan and Will Owen added single goals for the visitors, who thrashed a Penycae outfit which had lost just one of its previous eight league matches.
Llanuwchllyn are now undefeated in nine this season – seven wins and two draws. This Saturday they host second-place and fellow unbeaten side Knighton Town/
