Four new signings announced by Llandudno Amateurs

Following the departure of striker Jay Sutton to Penmaenmawr Phoenix, Llandudno Amateurs have announced four new signings to help them build towards a promotion push in 2025-26.
Will Davidson, Benn Hughes, Jamie Grimshaw and Jack Johnson have all joined the North Wales Coast East Premier Division club.
Llandudno Amateurs have only played two league fixtures so far this season, largely because of cup commitments.
They caused quite a stir by knocking Tier 3 Knighton Town out of the FAW Amateur Trophy in early September.
Sutton’s goals will certainly be missed, but the Amateurs have acted quickly by recruiting some new faces.
Will Davidson

Davidson, 22, has most recently played for Meliden but has previously represented NFA and Llandudno, where he emerged through the academy and was a regular in the reserve side.
An Amateurs spokesman said: “He knows a number of our lads. We know the quality that Will can bring to us.”
Benn Hughes

Hughes joins the Amateurs after a number of years out but has most recently been playing for Llandudno Junction Vets.
Amateurs: “After coming to training Benn was keen to come on board. Benn has bags of experience and quality which he can offer to us all as a club and will be a huge asset to us moving forward in many ways.”
Jamie Grimshaw
This 26-year-old was last with Bow FC but also had a spell at Penrhyn Bay.
Amateurs: “We have played against Jamie a number of times of the years for various teams. Jamie gives 100%, reads the game very well and adds a voice to our back line. Jamie trained really well with us last week and the first impressions around the lads were extremely positive.”
Jack Johnson

Brother of Amateurs captain Kyle Johnson, 31-year-old Jack has already made three brief appearances for his new team.
Amateurs: “With his debut coming in the superb victory, away vs Knighton Town, Jack brings a huge character to the squad and fits in well with the lads. Jack is extremely keen and willing to learn to improve his game.”
