After six successive defeats Rhyl’s young reserve side celebrated their first-ever win on Friday night when they edged a 3-2 verdict at Maes Tegid.
Jenson Wold netted twice in the first half for the Lilywhites after 16 and 24 minutes, Kai Paolucci and Toby Jones providing assists.
Michael Ashworth pulled one back for Bala on the hour, but Kyle Codack set up Toby Jones to make it 3-1 after 79.
Luca Beck pulled one back for the Lakesiders in added time, but Justin Jones’ visiting side held on for a first three points.

Connor John was a hat-trick hero for triumphant Bangor as the Hollingsworth Group Stadium on Sunday.
John netted after 33, 76 and 87 minutes, assists supplied by Elliot Sanders-Shears, Cai Thomas and sub Kaydan Williams-Squires.
Jake Jones notched Airbus’ consolation.

Gresford Athletic Development 2 Colwyn Bay U21s 1

Gresford were on a high after ending Colwyn Bay’s unbeaten record.
Following a goalless first half, Efan Bowden-Williams handed Bay a 73rd minute lead, but on 80 captain Philip McKevitt-Harvey equalised and with 84 on the clock Alex Cooper bagged the Colliers’ winner from the penalty spot.

Sixteen-year-old Freddie Naylor scored both goals for a Nomads outfit which sits a handy second in the table.

NFA U23s 2 Holywell Town Development 5

Harrison Doleman and Louie Doleman netted twice apiece as Holywell chalked up an impressive victory at Ffordd Derwen on Saturday.
Jacob Byron was also on target for the visitors, who had first team manager Johnny Haseldin in goal, Mason Fleming one of those to reply for NFA.

Mynydd Isa U21s 2 Ruthin Town Reserves 4

Dyfan Thomas, Leo Jones, Ciaran Roberts and sub Peter Baldry shared the goals in a Ruthin success, Jack Jones responding with a double for the hosts.
Ruthin had Isac Gwyn dismissed for two yellow cards in the 57th minute with his team leading 3-2.

Llandudno Reserves 13 Porthmadog Development 0

Jordan Hadaway (4), Harry Dodwell (3), John Cooper (3), Finley Newell, Thomas Monks and Bryn Williams made up the scoresheet entries as Llandudno roared into top spot.
