Two depart reigning league champions Connah’s Quay Nomads

Two recent departures to report from Connah’s Quay Nomads women.
Paris Schofield, 20, has returned to former club Llanfair United after making just two substitute appearances for the Adran North champions. Llanfair announced the news tonight.

The midfielder was nominated for the Adran North Young Player of the Season award in 2024-25, recording seven goals and five assists in her debut campaign in the second tier.
Goalkeeper Molly France, 18, the Genero Adran North Golden Glove for 2024-25, also recently left the Nomads.

France was a key figure in a Nomads team which won all 14 league matches to seal the title.
The young talent played in nine league games and conceded just six goals, producing five clean sheets.
France has joined North West Women’s Regional League club Wirral Phoenix, who stated on their social media: “Molly joins us as a Golden Glove winner in Wales, cementing her status as one of the standout goalkeepers around.
“With safe hands, sharp reflexes, and real authority in her box, she brings quality and confidence to our defensive unit – a proven shot-stopper with a winning mentality.”
Outfield player Aimee Redfern has been between the sticks in Nomads’ opening two matches of the 2025-26 season.
