CPD Penrhyndeudraeth 4 Menai Bridge Tigers 3
Despite suffering a first league defeat of the campaign, Menai Bridge are top of the revised standings on goal difference following Glantraeth’s departure.
Jamie McDaid and John Littlemore put the Tigers two-up before a James McMinimee own goal cut the deficit before half time.
The start of the second period saw a complete turnaround after Cian Pritchard and Cai Henshaw found the net for the hosts to make it 3-2.
Kaine Bentley levelled after 77, but in the same minute visiting keeper Caron Hughes was red-carded.
And in the 90th minute super sub Alun Hughes bagged Penrhyn’s winner – quite a game!
CPD Llannerchymedd 0 Nantlle Vale 4
Ashley Owen was a hat-trick star for a Nantlle Vale side sitting joint top of the table after amendments following the resignation of Glantraeth this week.
Owen struck on 50, 59 and 79 minutes at Tan Parc. Owain Ellis having handed the Penygroes side a half-time lead courtesy of a very early strike.
CPD Blaenau Ffestiniog Amateurs 1 CPD Boded 1
Nine-man Blaenau rescued a point with an 84th minute leveller from Cemlyn Owen after Justin Williams had nudged Boded in front inside the first 60 seconds.
The Quarrymen had Iolo Thomas sent off after 51 and Oliver Dukes-Morgan on 71, both for two yellows.
CPD Llanberis 1 CPD Llanystumdwy 1
Rhodri Jones gave visitors Llanystumdwy a 50th minute lead, but Guto Jones equalised on 63 and 1-1 is how it stayed.
Llanrug United 9 CPD Mynydd Llandegai 1
Veteran striker Kevin Lloyd struck four times for a Llanrug outfit which thrashed Llandegai out of sight at Eithin Duon.
Deion Hughes (2), Llion Jones, Matthew Roberts and sub Sion Williams produced the rest of the home goals, Tommy Roberts replying for the visitors with the score at 4-0, ‘Rug having netted a quadrpule before the 15th minute.
Talysarn Celts 4 Gwalchmai 3
Gethin Jones popped in an 88th minute winner for Talysarn after Gwalchmai had put up a great battle at Gloddfa Glai.
Glyn Hughes-Thomas (2) and sub Jack Usher bagged the remainder of Celts’ goals. Gwalch, who led twice, hit back through Liam Willighan, Alan Owen and Iwan Sawicz.
Cemaes Bay 7 Bontnewydd 1
After four successive narrow defeats Cemaes returned to winning ways in some style at School Lane.
Tom Wood, Ben Hoyland and Codie Holland all notched two goals apiece for the Anglesey side, while Asa Thomas recorded his ninth goal of the campaign via a superb free kick.
