One of North Wales women’s football’s most impressive records was ended today.
After four seasons of not losing a single group game in the Genero Adran Trophy, Connah’s Quay Nomads’ 13-match winning streak was halted at Llandudno.
Hannah Owen scored the only goal of the tie in first half injury time from a Jess Mills assist.

Ellie Davies’ equaliser five minutes into added time after the 90 salvaged a first group point for Berriew.
Felinheli led 2-0 through goals from Ellie Jones on 22 minutes and Llywela Edwards after 49, but Samantha Jones pulled one back after 52 and then came that last-gasp leveller.

A dramatic win for Flint as Llinos Hughes grabbed a 94th minute decider soon after Holly Owen-Roberts had equalised for Bangor with 90 on the clock.
Until those late net-finders, the Silkwomen had led through Beth Roberts’ first goal for the club on 23 minutes.
In what was an exciting game, Bangor hit rhe woodwork three times and Flint went close to scoring on several other occasions.

Late heartbreak for Llangefni after Lucie Gwilt bagged a 90th minute clincher for visitors Llanfair.
Ellie Coulson had edged Cefni ahead after seven minutes before Sophie Cook levelled on 49.

New side Buckley’s first game ended in a draw.
Anna Thomas scored twice in the first half for the home side on 24 and 45 minutes, but Lexi-mai Burrows and Mary Newman hit back to earn Welshpool a point.

Scarlett Foster-Noble (2), Tyler Price and Hannah Williams shared the goals for Northop Hall in a comfortable away win.

Big opening match win for the Foresters, Laura Tobin (4), Kirstie Kural (3), Charlotte Dykes (2), Savannah Miller (2) and Laura Evans were the scorers.

Player of the match Jess Nettleton was a hat-trick star for a Kinmel Bay side which turned in a stunning second half performance to see off Caernarfon.
Lexi Walsh added a double and Georgia Williams a single for the visitors, Elan Evans replying with a treble for the Canaries, who were 3-2 up at the interval.
