Triple success for North Wales in Cymru Leagues monthly awards

Caernarfon Town, Airbus UK Broughton and Holywell Town have all been successful in their respective leagues’ first awards of the season.
The winners of July/August’s Player and Manager of the Month awards across the JD Cymru Leagues have been confirmed.

Manager of the Month
Richard Davies – Caernarfon Town

Undefeated in their opening five games, Caernarfon Town head into September as leaders of the JD Cymru Premier.
Richard Davies’s side have scored an impressive 16 goals in the process, following up their 6-1 win over Llanelli Town with a 5-2 victory at Flint Town United during August.
The Cofis also beat Bala Town 2-0 during the month, as well as defeating Colwyn Bay 3-0 in the Nathaniel MG Cup.

Manager of the Month
Johnny Haseldin – Holywell Town

It’s been an impeccable opening to the season for Johnny Haseldin and his Holywell Town side as the early pacesetters in the JD Cymru North have won all six of their opening league games.
Their recent 5-1 whipping of Ruthin Town is their biggest margin of victory to date.
Since the start of the campaign, the Wellmen have played eight, won eight across all competitions.
Player of the Month
George Peers – Airbus UK Broughton

The current leading goalscorer in the JD Cymru North with eight goals in just six games, George Peers has made a flying start to 2025-26.
Peers scored all three goals in the 3-0 win over Buckley Town and both Airbus net-finders in the 2-2 draw with Newtown, as well as delivering a double in a 4-0 beating of Holyhead Hotspur.
The Wingmakers’ skipper has netted nine times in total in all competitions so far.
