We’re a few weeks into the 2025-26 season now, so let’s take a look at how our Dynamic Dozen are performing.

Every season Grassroots North Wales chooses 12 male players who are worth watching out for in the nine months ahead.

Our selections have made what can only be described as a fantastic start to the campaign – scoring 50 goals between them so far!

Byron Davis (CPD Y Felinheli)

What an amazing start to the season for this 18-year-old striking sensation.
First campaign in senior football and already has netted nine goals in seven matches, including a hat-trick in a 7-1 FAW Amateur Trophy victory over Lex XI.

Logan Williams (CPD Dinas Bangor City 1876)

Eight appearances for 1876 so far since his summer transfer from Penmaenmawr and really looks the part in Tier 3.
Scored a stunning goal on his Welsh Cup debut in a comfortable win over Blue Bridge at Bastion Gardens, Prestatyn.

Luke McGuinness (Blue Bridge)

With Blue Bridge being a team still finding their feet in senior football, keeper Luke has had to ship a fair few goals so far, but despite that he has produced some fantastic performances between the sticks.
This great 18-year-old prospect concocted some stunning stops in Bridge’s Welsh Cup loss to CPD Dinas Bangor 1876. Was a proud member of the Bridge side which celebrated their first ever league win on August 23.

Will Edwards (Mochdre Sports)

Has scored in four of Mochdre’s seven matches so far, continuing the fine form he showed at the end of last season.
First goal of the campaign was a special one, putting Sports ahead in a Welsh Cup tie at Bangor City Stadium.

Josh Stanley (Trearddur Bay)

A summer which has seen Josh feature for Ynys Môn in the Orkney Island Games has kept on flourishing with some good displays so far for Trearddur Bay in Tier 3.
Scored in Bay’s best performance so far, a 5-3 Welsh Cup success at former club Llangefni Town and also found the net in 6-0 beating of Penmaenmawr.

Curtis Cook (NFA)

Got off to an absolute flyer, scoring a Welsh Cup hat-trick for NFA in a 4-1 triumph at Llandyrnog United on July 26.
Followed up with a double in 4-2 win at Connah’s Quay Town and netted in a 2-0 FAW Amateur Trophy defeat of Llanystumdwy. Has also scored for U23s. This seventeen-year-old is going great guns.

Alfie Griffiths (Prestatyn Sports)

This 16-year-old wonder has netted four goals in his last three matches for Prestatyn Sports – not a bad opening to your first season in senior football.
With so many good players around him, including brother Hari, this has the makings of being a special season for Alfie.

Louis Gizzi (Rhos United)

Scored a hat-trick on his debut for Rhos in a 6-0 Welsh Cup tanning of CPD Pentraeth on July 26.
Netted again in the Welsh Cup on August 23, this time in a penalties defeat to Hawarden Rangers. Justifying the manager’s decision to bring him to the Tier 4 club.

Morgan Thomas (Llandudno Amateurs)

We’ve already talked about a couple of players scoring hat-tricks on their Welsh Cup debuts – well Morgan scored FOUR the Amateurs in a 9-2 crushing of CPD Henllan on July 26.
Also netted in a 3-1 FAW Amateur Trophy victory at Saltney Town – five goals in his first three games is highly impressive.

Leo Latter (CPD Y Rhyl 1879)

Great start in a Rhyl shirt for this versatile performer.
Scored a dramatic equaliser in a 2-2 Nathaniel MG Cup draw with Denbigh Town, a tie the Lilywhites eventually lost on penalties.

Tom Freeman (Chirk AAA)

Carrying on from last season’s 21-goal haul for the Colliers in Tier 3, Tom has begun 2025-26 well, scoring four times in six games so far.
Netted both in Chirk’s impressive 2-1 victory against FC Queen’s Park on August 8. Sure to be a key man at Holyhead Road this term.

Dion Jones (Llangefni Town)

This 18-year-old goal machine has taken to Tier 3 like a duck to water, scoring nine times in as many appearances for Llangefni Town so far.
Hit five in his opening three games and much of Cefni’s great start to the Ardal North West campaign is down to the form of this super striker.
