Clwb y Mis/Club of the Month – Who are the first winners of 2025-26?

Welcome to a fourth successive season of Grassroots North Wales’ Clwb y Mis/Club of the Month features
So many North Wales clubs have made a fantastic start to July and August, it is extremely difficult to pick out one winner, but after a lot of consideration we’ve decided upon….
CLUB OF THE MONTH – JULY/AUGUST 2025
WINNER
TIER 4: KINMEL BAY
Bear in mind the name of this feature is Club of the Month.
We’ve chosen Kinmel Bay, not just because their first team has been exceptional over the first few weeks of the season, but also due to the perfect form of their Development and Women’s teams.
In all, as a club Kinmel Bay have played 10 won 10.
First team: five matches, five wins; Development: three wins out of three; Women’s: two games, two victories.
Given their brilliant achievements in the past couple of seasons, it seems wrong that Kinmel Bay have not won Club of the Month before.
Well now that’s been put right – an exceptional club from top to bottom.
Because of the exceptional performances all round in North Wales so far, even one loss this season rules a team out of the first award.
First team

Kinmel Bay have already knocked two Tier 3 sides out of national cups.
They have also won both their league games away by scores of 10-0 and 8-0.
On a personal note, Connor Morris reached 100 goals for the club in 94 appearances.

The team finished last season unbeaten in 10 games (nine of them wins) and have now extended that run to 12 without defeat into early 2025-26.
So many good young players are in the squad and some quality experienced ones too,
Sixteen-year-old Lexi Walsh (pictured above) has already scored in both games to date – expect a lot more from her.
