Anyone had trouble logging on to the Cymru Football App today?

The FAW have explained why.

Staff at the national football association said testing was being carried out on the facility which led to an access problem for users.

However, the association assures everything should soon be back to normal.

During the ongoing work earlier today, bugs developed in the log-in system which explains how many would have lost contact with the app.

The popular app is an excellent tool for keeping up to date with the very latest fixtures, tables, scores and stats from Welsh football.

An FAW spokesperson said: “A test to implement login functionality to the Cymru Football app brought up an issue in the live environment, impacting user access.

“The implementation is being rolled back and normal functionality of the Cymru Football app should resume soon.

“Login functionality will be implemented to the app in the future to increase functionality and improve the user experience.

“The backend of the app will return to the version it was on 48 hours ago, effectively removing the sign-in requirement.

“This won’t impact how the user sees the app and no results/data will be lost from matches.”
