Flint Town United goalkeeper re-signs for the club

Goalkeeper Becky Bott has rejoined Flint Town United for the 2025-26 season.
The 26-year-old announced she was taking a break from football at the end of 2024-25, but has now had a change of heart.
Becky stepped in to help the team out in a recent friendly after keeper Ruby Stevens got injured and has since been persuaded by the club to make a permanent return.
One of a small group of players to make 50 appearances for Flint, Becky has played 52 times for the Silkwomen, who she joined on formation in 2022-23.
She was part of the squad which won the North East Wales East Division title in 2023-24.

Renowned for her bravery, ability in one-on-one situations and overall shot-stopping, Becky began playing football aged around 9 or 10, her first club being Flint Juniors where she was an outfield player.
She started competing in senior football in 2016-17 aged 17 as a goalkeeper for Kinmel Bay.
After a break, Becky returned to football when Flint formed three seasons ago.
She will now work alongside the club’s other keepers Stevens and Abbie Holloway in 2025-26, which will be Flint’s second season in the Tier 2 Genero Adran North League.
