Osian Jones was a five-goal star for a Llangefni side which went top of the league on Tuesday night after a fourth straight win.
Jones netted four times in the first half as Cefni reached the interval stage 5-0 to the good.
Cameron Jones was also on the mark for the Anglesey hosts in the opening period, then after the break Dion Jones, Osian Jones and Aled Williams brought up the eight.
Promoted Penmaenmawr are still without a win and finding life a real struggle in their early days as an Ardal North West club.

Prestatyn Town 3 Llanrwst United 0

Unbeaten Prestatyn nudged up to second after a three-goal triumph over Llanrwst at Bastion Gardens.
Jamie Ryan Jones headed into his own goal on 26 minutes and Zebb Edwards added a second before half time.
The second half saw Town keeper Sam Thomas pull off a couple of great saves before sub Leon Atkins wrapped up the points with Prestatyn’s third deep into added time.

Connah’s Quay Town 3 St Asaph City 2

Leading 3-0 until just before the break, Town held off a fightback from Saints to claim maximum points.
Connor Parry, Pascal Gomez and Alister Randles put the hosts in command before Dylan Evans replied in the 40th minute.
Josh Roberts made it 3-2 on 70, but that was as close as the visitors got.

Mynydd Isa 2 Llay Welfare 5

Cavan Daley was the star man for winning visitors Llay with a four-goal salvo.
Daniel Clewley was also on target for the visitors, Sam Wainwright and James Beck responding for Mynydd Isa, who led 2-1 early in the second half.

Porthmadog 2 CPD Y Felinheli 0

Two first half strikes wrapped up the points for Port.
Jack Rimmer broke the deadlock on 24 minutes with a bullet header from a corner, while a smart finish from Rhys Alun doubled the lead after 41.
Byron Davis went close for Felin in the second half, while at the other end Mark Jones pulled off a couple of fantastic saves.

CPD Pwllheli 1 Bethesda Athletic 3

A first league win of the season for Bethesda.
Goals from Osian Hughes (penalty) and Steffan Davies put the visitors two-up before Josua Jones replied before half time.
The points were settled when Daniel Hughes made it 3-1 after 80 from a Louis Turner assist.
