New ‘secret’ league produces 34 goals in six matches in first weekend of action

The first results in the new ‘secret’ reserve league for North Wales emerged at the weekend.
Apparently, the FAW didn’t want the league publicised, so let’s get the first set of reports out there.

Mynydd Isa 0-1 Llandudno
Thomas Williamson scored the only goal on the hour to clinch victory for Llandudno at Argoed SSC.
Y Rhyl 1879 1-4 Colwyn Bay
Uniss Kargbo (2) and Sam Parry (2, 1 pen) ensured Bay came out on top at the Hops and Barley Community Stadium on Sunday.
Efan Smith replied for hosts Rhyl.

Buckley Town 1-3 Ruthin Town
Ciaran Roberts (2) and sub Jaydon Ball were on the mark to deliver three points for Ruthin, Ewan Price converting a penalty for Buckley.

Connahs Quay Nomads U18s 4-2 Gresford Athletic Development
James Hughes and Jayden Tang both scored twice to give Nomads a 4-0 half time lead.
Gresford limited the damage in the second half, Alex Cooper converting two penalties.
Holywell Town Development 2-9 Airbus UK Broughton Reserves
Sub Harrison Phythian hit a hat-trick and fellow replacement Kacper Bury added a double for emphatic winners Airbus, Louis Bebbington-Rodgers, Franciszek Sadczuk, Alexander Jones and Stanley Edwards sharing the rest,
Louie Doleman scored both for Holywell.
NFA U23 4-3 Denbigh Town Reserves
Sam Parry-Jones bagged an injury time winner for NFA in a seven-goal thriller against Denbigh.
Oliver Hansen (2) and Curtis Cook notched the other home goals, Rhys Lloyd (2) and Jac Jones hitting back for the visitors.
