Battle of the Bays is a standout tie in FAW Amateur Trophy

The battle of the Bays is potentially one of the ties of the round in the Dragon Signs FAW Amateur Trophy next stage.
Cemaes Bay will host Kinmel Bay in an all-Tier 4 encounter at School Lane in round one on the weekend of September 5-7.

Both teams are among the favourites to win their respective league titles this season – Cemaes the North Wales Coast West Premier and Kinmel the East equivalent.
Cemaes have a lethal strike force comprising the likes of Asa Thomas, Cameron Buckley, Luke McGivern and Tom Wood, while Kinmel can rely on the ruthless finishing of Connor Morris and Sean Sheridan.
It’s been an exciting start to the season for Nefyn United cup draw-wise.

They landed a tie at Porthmadog – and won – in the Trophy qualifying round and have scooped another plum clash at home to Tier 3 high-flyers Llanuwchllyn in the next stage.
The Tier 4 Penwaig will also visit T3 Penmaenmawr Phoenix in the Welsh Cup QR2.
Rhos United of the North Wales Coast East Premier are sure to enjoy a glamour tie at Tier 3 Bethesda Athletic and Llanfairpwll versus Llangefni Town in a T5 versus T3 island derby to savour.
Llanfairpwll are no strangers to upsetting the form book in national competitions and will relish a meeting with Cefni, who will no doubt prove very strong opponents.
CPD Penrhyndeudraeth against CPD Pwllheli has the makings of a top-class contest and T5 Prestatyn Sports will be thrilled at the chance to host T3 NFA, a team which has started the season in fine form.
