Goalkeeper Mia returns to Llangefni Town

Goalkeeper Mia Gleave is back with Llangefni Town after a season at top-flight Adran Premier club Aberystwyth.

The 20-year-old featured mainly for Aber’s under-19 and development sides in 2024-25, but did make one full league appearance for the first team and played in cup matches.

Among her first team outings was an 8-0 victory over NFA in the Bute Energy Welsh Cup last November.

Formerly with Nantwich Town, Mia was also an outstanding stopper for Bangor University before signing for Llangefni at the start of 2023-24,.

She made 12 appearances in all competitions for the Anglesey sude, helping them win the Betty Pickering Cup and finish runners-up in the North Wales Women’s League West Division.

Mia got an early taste of Park Avenue playing for Bangor University, as they faced Aberystwyth University in the women’s football Varsity event in March 2024.
