Tier 5 North Wales Coast West Division One club CPD Cefni have been busy in the transfer market this summer.

Prolific goalscorer who passed the 200 mark last season joins Cefni from Caergybi, who are taking a season’s break from football.
Current career goals total is 207 – 121 for Caergybi, 74 for Bryngwran Bulls, eight Holyhead Town and four with Glantraeth.
Found the net 54 times for Bryngwran Bulls in 2017-18, but the following season did even better, his 72 goals in a Caergybi shirt securing him the Bob Brodie Trophy.
James, 38, who hails from Valley, only began playing local football in 2016-17 after leaving the Army.
Vastly experienced midfielder whose last North Wales club was Menai Bridge Tigers in tier 4 during 2023-24.
Has Cymru Premier experience, making 57 top-flight appearances in total between stints at Llangefni Town and Porthmadog.
First emerged through the ranks at Llangefni, where he was capped at Welsh schoolboy level and also by Welsh Colleges, before moving to the USA to study.
During his time in America he played for Pittsburgh, RGV FC Toros and Cincinnati between 2005-07, then returned home to represent Llangefni, Porthmadog and Caernarfon Town.
This season, Steve will be part of the CPD Cefni coaching staff primarily, but available on the pitch too.
Has predominately played for Llannerchymedd, with a short stint at Aberffraw last season,
A very reliable player who can operate both as a defender and in midfield.
Returns to Cefni after a spell with CPD Gaerwen last season.
Aged 18, highly regarded prospect who impressed playing for Gaerwen Juniors and Caernarfon Town Development through his school years.
Cefni are looking forward to seeing his impact before he moves away to study at university.
Seventeen-year-old who gained some senior minutes at Llannercymedd during March and April last season.
Earlier played for Gleision Llangefni Under-15s and Gaerwen Juniors U15/16/17s.
New signing of whom the club says: “Showed in training his calmness on the ball, and good on and off the ball presence.”
Experienced player joins from Glantraeth, where he spent a number of seasons after spells with Gwalchmai and Gaerwen.
A consistent full-back who has more than shown his ability over the years
Brings to CPD Cefni years of experience playing around the island as well as previously managing Llangefni Town Reserves.
Has been a regular with Llannerchymedd for the past three seasons, before that turning out for Gwalchmai and Gaerwen.
Arrives at Cefni after two seasons with Bethesda Athletic, being part of the tier 4 North Wales Coast West Premier Division title-winning squad last term. Previously with CPD Pentraeth.
He operates primarily as a midfielder, likes to have the ball at his feet and drive forward with it.
Talented 17-year-old who started last season with CPD Cefni but ended it at Gaerwen.
A Cefni spokesman said: “We are very pleased he’s back to show everyone he’s one of the best teenagers in this league.”
