There were some very familiar names on the scoresheet for the Amateurs in their second pre-season warm-up.

Vale eventually took the lead from the penalty spot.
Jay Sutton hit the bar for the hosts, who then a goal ruled out for offside.
Once the Amateurs began to press higher up the pitch they forced Vale into mistakes and got their reward when Joe Jones’ first time pass released David Hansom, who calmly slotted home.
Half-time: 1-1
Amateurs started the second half as strongly as they finished the first. Seven minutes in Sutton burst down the right and squared the ball across goal for Hansom to put away his second.
In the 65th minute, Azz Rogers found the run of Sutton with a quality through ball. Sutton rounded the keeper and hit the back of the net.
Five minutes later an excellent free kick delivery found the unmarked Rogers, who headed home.
