Brymbo Reserves 0 Cefn Druids Reserves 2

Goals from Eric Durnell (31 minutes) and Oscar Herd (71) led Druids to victory at Brymbo.

The win sees the Ancients in second place, three points behind The New Saints with the same number of games played, while the Steelmen are rock bottom.

Cefn Albion Reserves 2 Rhos Aelwyd Reserves 2

Despite a Kai Morris double, Albion had to settle for a draw at a very wet MUGA.

This local derby between two teams in the lower reaches of the table saw Arron Thomas and Aled Bayley strike for the Aelwyd.

Llandudno Under-23’s 2 Llanrwst United Reserves 0

Adam Montgomery and Greg Hall grabbed the goals which banked fourth-place Llandudno the points.

It was an excellent performance from the home side, with manager Jason Dennan saying: “It was the best football I’ve seen our under-23’s play since I’ve come here.

“The discipline was excellent and overall the performance was absolutely brilliant.”

Montgomery broke the deadlock on 41 minutes and Hall doubled the lead after 70.

Bala Town Reserves 5 St Asaph City Reserves 1

The Lakesiders recovered from going a goal down to record an emphatic win over the basement Saints on Friday night.

Dylan Roche struck first for the visitors after just six minutes, but Bala were 4-1 up by half time, Steffan Parry, Cai Aykroyd and Llion Thomas (2) putting the hosts in command.

Just one goal was scored in the second half – Will Hughes netting for Town on 76 minutes.

Joy for Llangoed Reserves as they celebrated just their second win of the season – and first under new manager Dion Lewis.

Matthew Owen (2, 1 pen) and Daniel Owen were among the home marksmen, Alex Lynes (pen) and Ryan Lewis Jones replying.

All-square at Caer Delyn where Nefyn fought back from two goals down to force a draw.

Sion Williams (22 minutes) and Aled Hughes (27) put the Darans in initial command, the score standing at 2-0 come the break.

Ben Roberts gave the Penwaig hope by pulling a goal back on 65 minutes before Gwion Roberts levelled deep into stoppage time.
