Guess who has made Bangor 1876 the 27th CLUB of his senior career?
The man whose goal relegated Bangor 1876 last season has joined the club he sent down.
Jamie Reed is the third summer signing for the newly-named CPD Dinas Bangor City 1876.
He follows Cai Owen and Tommy Creamer through the entrance door at Bangor City Stadium.
Reed, a Bangor City hero from the early 2010s, scored the late goal which kept Ruthin Town in the JD Cymru North on the final day of 2024-25, his overhead kick condemning an 1876 side which spent only the last seven minutes of the campaign in the relegation zone back to tier 3.
For the 37-year-old, who only joined Ruthin in February 2025, it was his sole goal for the Vale of Clwyd team on his ninth appearance and one of the most crucial in the club’s history.
He did not celebrate the goal, and admitted afterwards it gave him mixed emotions as the city of Bangor has always remained close to his heart.
Reed, also a Wales semi-pro international, has netted more than 200 goals in a senior career which began at Wrexham in 2003.

He also had a brief spell as manager at Cymru Premier club Airbus UK Broughton in 2022-23.
Reed will combine a playing and coaching role with Ardal North West club 1876.
How ironic would it be if one of his goals played a part in 1876 getting back up to tier 2 this season.
