However, Connor’s best total in a season for Gwalchmai was 39 in 2022-23.

The step up to tier 2 will be a big test for Connor, but he is more than capable of achieving success.

2 Blaine Hudson (The New Saints to Airbus UK Broughton)

Towering 6 ft 4 centre-back with vast experience of the Cymru Leagues.

Early in his career, Hudson was part of the Norwich City Under 18s squad and in 2011 moved to Cambridge United, where he had loan spells with Cambridge City, Billericay and Welling United.

After spending three years at Cambridge United, he switched to then National League club Wrexham AFC. He went on to make 76 appearances for the Dragons.

In 2017 he joined the Cymru Premier champions The New Saints, where he was to clock up  199 appearances, scoring 28 goals

In January 2025, due to limited playing time, Hudson took the decision to go on loan to Caernarfon Town for the remainder of the season.

He made 11 appearances and scored twice in Caernarfon’s brilliant end to the campaign which saw them just miss out on Europe after losing to Haverfordwest County in a play-off.

Hudson is Airbus’ second signing of the summer, following Mason Blackwell-Jones’ move to the Wingmakers from Bangor 1876.

3 Craig Lindfield (Colwyn Bay to Holywell Town)

They included FC United of Manchester, Chester, Marine, Nantwich Town, Runcorn Town and Curzon Ashton before his association with North Wales began with Colwyn Bay in 2022-23.

4 Ste Middleman (Bow to Blue Bridge)
