Jenna Allsup of CPDM Y Felinheli fully deserves her place in the Adran North Team of the Season 2024-25

The 2024/25 Genero Adran League Teams of the Season were announced today ahead of the FAW National League Awards on 7 June.
Representatives from across the league were invited to select a best XI, before all submissions were compiled into the Team of the Season.

League champions Cardiff City have the most players in the Team of the Season with four put forward by representatives from opposition clubs. Briton Ferry, who finished second in their first season back in the top-flight, have three players and there’s two each from The New Saints and Wrexham.

GK – Courtney Young (Briton Ferry Llansawel)
RB – Maria Francis-Jones (The New Saints)
CB – Shannon Evans (Cardiff City)
CB – Lowri Ridings (Briton Ferry Llansawel)
LB – Ffion Price (Cardiff City)
CM – Lili Jones (Wrexham)
One of the brightest young talents in the division, Jones finished joint third in assists this season with seven and also scored a memorable goal against TNS to help Wrexham into the top four.
CM – Tija Richardson (Briton Ferry Llansawel)
CM – Lily Billingham (Cardiff City)
RW – Abbie Iddenden (Wrexham)
With nine league goals and nine assists to her name, Abbie proved to be a solid addition to the Wrexham side after joining from Stoke City. She netted 17 times in all competitions and was recently named Wrexham AFC Women’s Player of the Season.
ST – Fiona Barry (Cardiff City)
LW – Chantelle Teare (The New Saints)

GENERO ADRAN NORTH TEAM OF THE SEASON 2024/25

The club represented the most in the team are champions Connah’s Quay Nomads who have four players included. Llanfair United have three, whilst there is also representation from Flint Town United, Rhyl 1879 and Felinheli.

GK – Molly France (Connah’s Quay Nomads)

The 18-year-old goalkeeper featured in nine of the Nomads’ 14 league fixtures, keeping five clean sheets.

RB – Taylia Chaloner (Flint Town United)

The 26-year-old was ever present in the league for Flint Town United during the 2024/25 season. She played in all 19 of Flint’s games in all competitions and was consistently outstanding.

CB – Mary Bailey (Llanfair United)

CB – Evie Chard (Connah’s Quay Nomads)

Connah’s Quay ended up conceding only six goals in 14 games, winning all 14 matches. Chard was a commanding presence in the Nomads backline and missed only one league match. The 23-year-old helped keep nine clean sheets, scored twice and assisted once.

LB – Rosie O’Brien (CPD Y Rhyl 1879)

Speedy and hard-working left-back/wing-back, Rosie was ever present for the Lilywhites in the 2024/25 league season. Her main task was to keep the goals out but she also found the net three times herself.

CM – Polly Wild-McGregor (Connah’s Quay Nomads)

Nominated for both the Adran North Player of the Season and Young Player of the Season. The midfielder won the Golden Boot scoring 21 goals from midfield, captaining her side to the league title at just 19 years old.

CM – Jenna Tugwell-Allsup (CPDM Y Felinheli)

One of the more experienced players in the league, Jenna was a key player in the centre of the park for Felinheli who earned a third-placed finish and lifted the NEWFA Challenge Cup. She ended up with five goals and five assists.

CM – Paris Schofield (Llanfair United)

RW – Kelsey Davies (Llandudno)

Scored 24 goals in all competitions. Despite reigning champions Llandudno finishing fourth in 2024-25, Kelsey netted a superb 14 league goals and six assists.

ST – Harriet Davies (Llanfair United)

LW – Ella Jones (Connah’s Quay Nomads)

Joint fourth-highest goalscorer in North Wales football with 25 in all. The 20-year-old had a combined 24 goal contributions in an ever-present campaign. Jones netted 14 league goals and had 10 assists in the regular season, as well as getting an assist in the Play-Off final.
